Handmade Pearl And Amethyst Drop Earrings

The easy for everyday drops, small enough for the office but still makes for a subtle impact.

I have made and sold loads of these types of earrings, I myself have a few pairs! I love making them because they are quite practical as a drop( earring can be).  Being small and lightweight you can grab a few different  pairs to take on holiday with you to keep yourself coordinated each day.  So easy to wear and put on. Made with a single strand of beads, threaded onto a silver headpin,  I put together the combinations to create a single colour block or to coordinate with a range using all different gemstones.

I have followed a colour theme of purple for these drops using 4mm faceted amethyst beads at the top, then two freshwater cultured pearls, The top one being violet/pink and a larger 5mm round pink pearl at the bottom. Each strand is hanging from a sterling silver (925) ear wire with silver bead detail.

The drop measures approximately 32mm from the top of the hook to the base of the pearl.
