Handmade Aquamarine And Pearl Drop Earrings

The go to earrings for everyday, small enough for the office but bright enough for a subtle impact. Excellent as a gift for people born in March as aquamarine is the birthstone for March.

I have sold loads of these types of earrings, I love making them because they are great for coordinating with other pieces or outfits without taking the limelight.  So easy to wear with a single strand of beads that I put together to create a single colour block or to coordinate with a range using a combination of gemstones.

I have followed a more uniform look for these drops with the use of three small tumbled aquamarine beads in a doughnut shape and for a vibrant hit of colour I have added a bright teal dyed freshwater cultured rice pearl at the bottom to complete the look.

Each earring comprises of four semiprecious beads, the top three being (2mm to 3mm) aquamarine and then the FW pearl at the bottom, threaded onto a single sterling silver (925) headpin and this is hanging from a sterling silver (925) ear wire with spring detailing.

The drop measures approximately 32mm from the top of the hook to the base of the pearl.
